Our holiday residence De Barrier is part of one of the many farm buildings in our small village Millen, borough of Riemst. From Maastricht the gateway to Haspengouw.
You can cycle and hike between the rolling countryside with its winding cornfields and vistas.
Within a radius of 20 km. you can cycle through 5 different regions. Van Haspengouw, with its hilly landscape, grain fields and standard orchards to De Kempen, with its wooded area, Maasland, with its watercourses and mesh lakes, Mergelland, with its caves and amstel-gold race and Voerstreek where the landscape is already the precursor of De Ardennen .
